Overview

WhatsApp Hub respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your data that we collected through Facebook Login integration.

When you authenticate with Facebook Login, we collect minimal information (User ID, name, and email) to provide our services. You can request deletion of this data at any time.

What Data Do We Collect via Facebook?

When you connect your WhatsApp Business account using Facebook Login, we collect:

  • Facebook User ID: Used to link your account
  • Name: Displayed in your profile
  • Email Address: For account identification and communication
  • WhatsApp Business Account Data: Phone Number ID, Business Account ID, Display Name

We do NOT collect your personal Facebook posts, photos, friends list, or any other sensitive information beyond what's necessary for authentication.

How to Delete Your Data

You have THREE options to delete your data:
Option 1: Delete from Your Account (Recommended)
  1. Log in to your WhatsApp Hub account at https://maarketings.com/accounts/login/
  2. Navigate to Settings or My Profile
  3. Click "Delete Account" button at the bottom
  4. Confirm deletion by clicking "Yes, Delete My Account"
  5. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

This will delete your entire WhatsApp Hub account including all associated data.

Option 2: Email Us

Send an email to info@maarketings.com with:

  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Include: Your registered email address or WhatsApp Business phone number
  • Include: Facebook User ID (if known)

Example Email:

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Hello,

I request deletion of all my data associated with my WhatsApp Hub account.

Registered Email: user@example.com
Phone Number: +1234567890

Thank you.

We will process your request within 7 business days and send confirmation via email.

Option 3: Revoke Facebook App Access

You can also revoke WhatsApp Hub's access to your Facebook data:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
  2. Find "WhatsApp Hub" in the list
  3. Click "Remove" or "Revoke Access"
  4. Confirm removal

Note: This only disconnects the Facebook app but does NOT delete data already stored in WhatsApp Hub. To fully delete your data, use Option 1 or Option 2.

What Happens After Deletion Request?

Day 0 (Request Received):
  • Your deletion request is logged in our system
  • You receive confirmation email
  • Your account is immediately deactivated (cannot log in)
Day 1-7 (Processing Period):
  • Data deletion begins across all databases
  • WhatsApp Business connections are removed
  • Message history is marked for deletion
Day 30 (Complete Deletion):
  • All your data is permanently deleted
  • Backups are purged
  • No recovery possible after this point
  • Final confirmation email sent

What Data Is Deleted?

Data that WILL BE DELETED:

  • ✅ Your account information (name, email, password)
  • ✅ Facebook User ID and login tokens
  • ✅ WhatsApp Business account credentials
  • ✅ All message history and conversations
  • ✅ Uploaded media files (images, videos, documents)
  • ✅ Message templates
  • ✅ Team member assignments
  • ✅ Usage logs and activity data

Data that MAY BE RETAINED (Legal Requirements):

  • ⚠️ Transaction records (if required by law)
  • ⚠️ Audit logs (for security/fraud prevention, anonymized)
  • ⚠️ Data under legal hold or court order

Any retained data will be anonymized and cannot be linked back to you.

Important Notes

Warning: Data Deletion is Permanent

Once your data is deleted, it CANNOT be recovered. Please make sure you:

  • Export any important data before deletion
  • Download message history if needed
  • Backup media files you want to keep
Data Deletion Timeline
  • Email Requests: Processed within 7 business days
  • Self-Service Deletion: Immediate (account deactivated), complete within 30 days
  • Confirmation: You will receive email confirmation at each stage

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. The deletion is permanent and irreversible after the 30-day period.

No. Revoking app access in Facebook only disconnects the integration. Your data remains in WhatsApp Hub. You must use Option 1 or 2 to delete data.

No. We can only delete data stored in WhatsApp Hub. Messages already sent to customers remain in their WhatsApp app. This is controlled by Meta/WhatsApp, not us.

Up to 30 days. Your account is deactivated immediately, but complete deletion from all systems (including backups) takes up to 30 days.

Yes, within 7 days. Contact us at info@maarketings.com immediately to cancel your request. After 7 days, cancellation may not be possible.
